After working in the printing and folding carton industries for all of his working life and retiring in 1971
Charles Leslie Johnston along with David Johnston and Rodney Maxwell established
C.L. Johnston Packaging Co Pty. Ltd. in 1972
in the rear of a small factory in the Sydney southern suburb of Kirrawee.
They were joined by James Hewlett to look after the sales and marketing operations of the company.
Later they purchased and moved into larger premises with a more central location at Condell Park (Bankstown)
from where the company currently operates.
Today the company operates with the experience of a senior executive team
and a young enthusiastic management team to advance into the future.
